2020 PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT ADDY AWARD WINNERS

2020 JURY PANEL

ALDO GONZALEZ

Aldo Gonzalez has been working in advertising for almost twelve years, although his appearance has made his friends and family think he’s been in the business far longer. All those long nights behind a Mac have always been fueled by the desire to create something new since he started working in advertising in Mexico City.

During his career, he has worked for different brands and has been the Creative Director for different clients such as AB InBev, Walmart, GM, and Heineken.

In 2018, he decided to start fresh, and warm, but mostly fresh, and joined The Community in Miami, where he currently works as Associate Creative Director helping to lead brands such as Samsung and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

He’s created work that’s been recognized locally and internationally at awards shows such as Cannes, San Sebastian, One Show, FIAP, EFFIE, IAB and El Ojo.

DANIELLE GUTHERIE

For over 20 years Danielle Gutherie has been applying her customer-first design thinking methods to develop experiences that help brands make deeper connections with their audience. She started out her career in Detroit, working in branding and packaging. Early in her career she founded Vega Project, a boutique design firm in San Francisco, a strategic design consultancy specializing in branding, digital product design, and e-commerce. From there she’s been the first Creative Director at several start-ups, including Kiwi Co. and Epic!.

She is currently the co-founder of The Sister Collective, an eCommerce store focusing on bringing stylish, eco-friendly products into every day households to help build a more sustainable future for us all, and providing design consulting to a select few brands.

Danielle has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University. Her work has been published in several design publications, including How Magazine.

Danielle lives in San Francisco with her husband and two boys. When she’s not working, you can usually find her painting, cooking, hiking, or strolling Ocean Beach.

RODOLFO FERNANDES

Rodolfo Fernandes is a Brazilian art director who currently works as Associ- ate Creative Director at FCB Chicago.

His work has been recognized in the most respected advertising festivals around the world Including 19 Cannes Lions.

In 2014, Rodolfo was recognized as the 7th most awarded Art Director at Gunn Report List and the campaign My Blood Is Red and Black was nominated the most awarded campaign ever – all Guns Blazing category.

Back to the Gun Report list, in 2016, his campaign Imprisoned Children appeared on the 6th place at the Good Report and was selected as one of the world’s best outdoor campaigns in the world by Adweek.

Rodolfo also has been a teacher at Miami Ad School.
