The Innovation and Leadership in Advertising Award (ILA) is an AAF-Tenth District award given to a company that exemplifies excellence in four key areas in advertising:

1. MEDIA USE – Extensive use of multimedia platforms using traditional and nontraditional media to create awareness or drive sales.
2. EMPLOYMENT IN TENTH DISTRICT – Extensive employment of people and businesses within the Tenth District region of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
3. DIVERSITY – Embracing diversity in your messaging and employment.
4. LEADERSHIP – Demonstrating leadership and boldness in your advertising message and creative use of media.
