1st. Lt. Governor

Strategically wild! Laurel, a nationally award-winning creative director, is currently the Director of Marketing & Creative Services at RAZ Imports, a wholesale importer of holiday and home decor.

Prior to her work at RAZ, Laurel was the Director of Marketing at Tandy Leather, a 100-year-old leather craft supply company and a freelance creative & brand strategist with Robeegraffix Advertising Design LLC. She is perhaps best known for marketing and product design work done for Kisabeth Furniture, a 60-year-old bespoke, made-in-the-USA furniture company.

A May 2013 graduate of Parsons, The New School and the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum’s History of Decorative Arts & Design MA Program, Laurel leverages a company’s own history and principles with an in-depth knowledge of art and design. Laurel is a 2011 graduate of Southwestern University with a BA in Art History. Laurel got her start in museums, auction houses, and e-commerce, but couldn’t resist the gravitational pull of advertising.

Laurel has been involved with AAF since she moved back to Fort Worth in 2016. She was the Communications Chair, Vice President, President, and Immediate Past President of AAF Fort Worth. She was the Social Chair for District 10 for 2020-2021. She is currently the ADDYs Chair for AAF Dallas.
