Kurt Thigpen is the CEO and co-founder of Ace Studios, a Reno-based creative and digital marketing agency serving clients internationally. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the AAF Council of Governors, where he works closely with leaders nationwide to strengthen chapters, grow membership, and support the long-term health of the organization.
A longtime AAF leader at the local, district, and regional levels, Kurt brings a people-first approach to leadership rooted in resilience, inclusion, and service. In 2024, he was honored with the AAF Lee-Douthit-Levine Perseverance Award, recognizing his commitment to leadership through adversity and his dedication to the advertising community. Kurt is also a frequent speaker and advocate for professional development, civic engagement, and public education.
