Austin Sandy
Governor
Austin Sandy is a two-time Emmy nominee and two-time Telly award-winning brand builder and digital marketer. He is the Corporate Digital Marketing Manager for Gray Television where he promotes the company’s portfolio of brands such as Investigate TV+ and Local News Live. The Gray Marketing Group also serves as a resource for Gray’s corporate departments and its TV stations in 113 markets. Previously, he was the Audience Development & Brand Manager for Gray’s East Texas affiliates, KLTV & KTRE. He got his start in media marketing as the Digital Marketing Manager at Gray’s Jonesboro, Arkansas station, KAIT 8.
A graduate of Arkansas State University, he holds a B.F.A. in Digital Design and was recognized as one of the university’s Emerging Young Alumni in 2020. His branding expertise is featured in the 4th edition of McGraw-Hill’s textbook, “Principles of Marketing.”
Austin is the Governor of the American Advertising Federation’s 10th District (AR, LA, OK, TX) and is the ex-officio of AAF East Texas. He is a member of the Lone Star EMMY Chapter and has previously served on the ABC Marketing Advisory Board and non-profit boards throughout Arkansas and Texas.
